After downloading Ad-Aware AE it was unable to remove previous program. Went to Add/Remove programs but still didn't remove.

Deleted all old Ad-Aware files on C:\. Then went to registry and removed every reference to Ad-Aware and Lavasoft.

Restarted installation of AE but it still asked to delete old program. Did not install.

How do I install Ad-Aware AE under these circumstances?

Downloaded latest release from web page. when run, it said it would erase previous version. Then said could not find previous version which was ad-aware 2007.

I deleted all mention of the 2007 version from my hard disk and from the registry.

Ad-Aware AE still will not install. What is wrong??

Please help.
