A customer of our FolderSizes product (http://www.foldersizes.com) emailed us to today stating that Ad-Aware found malware in our product's primary executable.

He says the following was reported:

"Ad-Watch Live! has blocked the process foldersizes.exe(8464) from starting on your system. The process has been identified as TR/Drop.Delf.dww"

This is a false positive. Can you please resolve ASAP??

Thank you for reporting this. Could you please post a log file from where the file is detected or the file that is being blocked (link would also work). This, so that we could investigate this further.

Unfortunately, I do not have access to the information you're requesting. We're simply getting reports from our customers (usually anonymously, since they're using our un-install feedback form) stating that your product is finding malware in FolderSizes.

Is the message that I provided you earlier not sufficient to research the problem?

You can also download and install our product from http://www.foldersizes.com, and I suspect it will reveal the false positive.

Please help, this is fairly urgent for us.

I tried with installing the product available on your home page but I did not see Ad-Aware detect it. I also tried version 3.6 and that was not detected either. However we will investigate this further.

Update.

This defect was corrected in a previous update, and should no longer cause a problem.
