I'm pritty sure that I have spyware/virus as I'm getting the clasic problem of "search for somthing on google click the link and some random web page opens" ow no , so I looked at AVG which is installed , this seemd to have been compromised and was crashing during scans so O thought I should install AAW on the computer as I have had grate luck with this in the past (my friends pc mine has it on already)

so I do the install and i get to run it once after the install, then during the scan that I started it crashes out and any atempt to restart it gives the Failed to "Connect to Service," error , I can't start the service I get access denied however I try to start it.

Err any help much apriciated , ps I had seen that peopel like spybot serch and destroy so I thought I would try that , similar lack of sucsess.

P.s. in case it's of any help , I created a second administrator user and installed AVG through that user account , I now have functioning AVG but it's scan found nothing. also the new acount is suffering from the re-directing problem.
