HI,

Ive spent all weekend and today trying all sorts of methods to cure my laptop but now more perplexed than ever! Ever since i stumbled over a coruppted site on internet explorer my laptop has been freezing after every 5mins and can only switch off and on when i boot it. When it does get onto the internet and i type something into the search engine and click on the link it opens up unrelated spam popups. I tried AVG, Spybot, AD Aware but im all out of ideas now. Ad Aware detected win tojan tdss and various other nasty things but nothing has seemed to remove them.
Also having trouble dwnloading HiJack this where my laptop freezes over but will keep trying. I have Autoruns and Processes Explorer if that helps tho...
Any help at all wud be appreciated as i dnt know what i can do anymore!

Read the instructions in my signature about posting a log in the HijackThis forum. Copy/paste or link to this thread to describe the problem, and somebody there can help you with malware removal. Even if you can't get HijackThis, it's not required - they have some other diagnostics which you can try.
