I scan my system and keep finding a directory called NETobserve\UNvise32.exe, and each time I delete, reboot, it returns with the next scan. I have scanned my system right after deleting and rebooting and it is still there. I would appear that the product that I paid for doesn't really work on my system or to delete that file. I need to figure out what exactly it is, and yeah I have gotten an idea of what it is but I want to know for sure not just agood guess.

thank you for any help on this

Hi,

Unfortunately some threats are too hard to remove and need removing manually. You can first try booting in safe mode and running the scan - Ad-Aware may be able to remove the threat then. If not, what you need to do is read the instructions in my signature and post a HJT log in the HJT forum for analysis and also link them to this topic.

Tried that, and found that no virus issue was found at safe mode, but was still there during regular boot up. I think that the issue is this. The product is finding a uninstall program that belongs to windows and identifies it as
a virus, and as such it continually tries to get rid of it, but it cannot. I tried to manually remove the issue, with no results, so I know that some how it belongs to windows.

I highly doubt the file itself belongs to Windows - if this were the case then we'd have loads of people reporting it. What I suggest you do is one of the following:

1. Report this as a false positive - here's a guide: http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=18033

2. Post a HJT log
