Hello,

Can somebody please post the link for download for Adware SE, my OS does not work with the latest edition.

Thanks in advance for the help

Lavasoft does not offer it for download.

There are other sites that I can give you, but to be honest, it's pointless - since the definition files are no longer updated. If you have a legacy OS I advise you to look at other software, such as Spybot Search and Destroy or Super Anti-Spyware.

If, however, you are running Windows 2000, XP, Vista or 7 then post with more details about the problem you're experiencing.

thanks so much for the reply, yeah it's actually pointless (OS is XP with SP1) don't know myself why I posted that stupid "Q" ...thanks anyway !!

This may sound like stupid question. Why are you running XP SP1 when you should be at XP SP3? You are leaving yourself wide open to viruses, Trojans and other nasties which could infect your system. If you are on dial-up connection contact M$ and they will send you the upgrades for free as the updates are quite large.

Also, if you as Pierre suggests then Ad-Aware runs absolutely fine on XP SP2 and 3.

Pierre ,
absolutely understand the issues, but when SP2 was heer I installed it and it was running very slow, however after contacting the service provider they gave me a KB tool which did not work..so I went back to SP1 ..

I will upgrade once I have my backup running so I am not dead with bluescreens !!
