I have Asus with Vista 32bit and I have djust done a total recovery of my computer. I did have Ad-aware 2008 with no complication but now I tryed to install Ad-aware AE. All Windows Update where done before this and most other programs.
I got "Error. The specifIed path is too long C:\dokument and Setting\Release Engineer.MACROVISION"
Any solution?

OK, thanks. It's just I have never heard of this problem before and so I did some research and other programs have experienced this issue and it was often due to not installing to the default Windows drive.
I will ask to see if any of the other volunteers here have seen it, but it will be helpful if we can learn a little more about your PC configuration.
How did you uninstall 2008, did it uninstall successfully?
What other security software do you have installed on your computer?
Have you tried installing to another drive or partition to see if the program will install?
Have you experienced this error, or similar, with installing other software?
What versions of flash and macromedia do you have installed?
and anything else you may think is useful to us.

I NEVER INSTALL IT WHEN I RUN THE RECOVER CD.

PcTools: SPYWARE DOCTOR, THREAT FIRE, SPYBOT, CA ANTI SPYWARE, SUPER ANTISPYWARE

NO, I HAVE ONLY C: FOR SYSTEM AND D: FOR SAWING.

FLASH PLAYER 10 ACTIVE X, FLASH PLAYER PLUG IN, SHOCKWAVE PLAYER 11.5. From macromedia I don´t know.
