After I scan and get a result(nothing found), I have 2 problems. When I call up the program, it shows the date of a scan 1 month ago as the latest scan and the icon does not appear down in the tray by the clock.
Please help. I'm using XP and IE 8.

The scan not remembered issue is a known problem at the moment with AE - but has been resolved in the new beta version due for release soon.

For the icon problem, could you please check in Task Manager to see if the service AAWTray is running? If so, you are fully protected and this is a Windows issue (Windows only allows a set time for the icons to load, so if you have a few loading then some might not be shown); if it is not then I'll give you further advice.
