Long time user, requested new license yesterday received installed new license on present software OK, but when tried to do Scan app froze, uninstalled and reinstalled Ad Aware same problem, uninstalled old app downloaded up dated version still same problem, starts to Scan then app freezes up.
Runs OK in safe mode also runs if I go to my computer Drive C and right click on Scan with Ad Aware Scan Mode shows Context menu Scan
not sure what that means.
Any help out there using Vista program ran OK before?

Also, since you are a paying customer you are entitled to conatct Lavasoft support for help with your issues.

"Context menu scan" means the scan was started via the right-click menu (aka the context menu).

Yes I gave Laversoft my logs and problem description, there reply was, "we have reported this problem to our Testing and Development department" that was on 8/25/09 and now they will not reply to my email asking what is the status,
I am running NIS but I have been running the two AdAware and Norton all along and everything was fine,

The problem started about 2 weeks ago: Potential Conflict between Ad-Aware and Norton on Windows Vista
