Hi Guy's
don't shoot me if i am posting in the wrong forum. i just got the adware pro anniversary edition last night. i have been reading some of you are having trouble with adware and Norton 360 and vista well thats my set up. i am running vista 64 bit with Norton 360 so i hope that i don't have trouble. i have use adware in the past on older computer's but i have this computer now its a new one and the first time that i have put adware on it. one thing that i found that is i google adware and it came up with a lot of program using the adware name so if you aren't careful you could in up with one that is not the lavasoft adware its kinda miss leading to me as i know lavasoft adware is the first with that name that i know of. biggrin.gif

To avoid problems with Ad-aware scans stalling, be sure to temporarily turn off Norton 360's Tamper Protection. That seems to be the trick until Lavasoft and/or Norton can find a solution.

I'm not talking about uninstalling anything, only turning off Norton's Tamper Protection *temporarily*. You might get lucky without turning it off, but doubtful if your Norton is updated. Once an Ad-aware scan reaches Norton files, Norton retaliates, and Ad-aware stalls. By disabling Tamper Protection, users have confirmed successful scans with Ad-aware. Afterwards, you can enable it again.
