Bonjour à tous,

I used the last Ad-aware AE payware under Vista and, on an other PC under XP.
In the both cases there is a conflict with the use of the "mouse right click" on the Favoris's folders.
Under Vista, the right click causes IE8 to block immediatly ,and, under XP a message on the screen reports the blocking of IE8.

I have to uninstalled AD-aware on the both PC and now IE8 works normally.

This "bug" is already referenced on the NET but i have not found a reference to this problem on the Lavasoft forum or on the Microsoft IE8 site.

Could somebody help me in order to repair this pb ?

Many thanks in advance
Chris

Hi,

I'm sorry I couldn't reproduce this. Do you mean you open up IE 8 and click favourites and then right click a folder and perform a context menu scan? Or did you navigate to a folder without IE?

Could you provide a link to the page also describing the problem?

Hi,Casey,
Many thanks for your prompt answer.

1/ IE8
As you said,I open IE8 and click favourites and Right click a folder. the right click makes IE8 hanging. No scan was made !

Ce n'est pas un problème smile.gif

I read through the topic and found only two users like yourself who could attribute this problem to Ad-Aware. The others found that a registry fix seemed to solve the issue. Have you tried that fix?

Failing that, as visitor says, you can contact the Lavasoft support center for help since you are a paying customer.

Re Casey.

Yes i have verified the register and the value was 0 as recommanded in the topic you have read.
Ok i'm going to look at the Lavasoft support center as a paying customer.
I've already take a look at this support but without result.
May be this time.

Merci one more time pour votre aide.

Chris
