I downloaded the free version, installed, checked box to restart, computor doesn't restart, do a manual restart. icon does not show in tray but is on desk top, click to open adware, window box comes up that adware is not configured correctly ,try reinstalling, but nothing works. this only happens with lavasoft spyware, OS XP HOME ED

Can you please go to Start>Run

type "Services.msc" and look for a service named "Lavasoft Ad-Aware Service". Please ensure that this service is started, and that it is set to automatic start.
