How can I prevent Ad-Aware (Anniversary Edition, Free) from starting with windows?

If you only want to get rid of the tray icon, click on Settings > Appearance > General and check "Hide taskbar icon."
If you want Ad-aware to launch manually only, click on Settings > Ad-Watch Live! > General and uncheck "Processes protection." (the other 2 modules should be grayed out since they're not available with Free edition). After reboot, Ad-aware will not start automatically, but can be launched via desktop or start menu shortcut.
