I'm still running Ad Aware 2007 (free, I think) under Windows XP. Recently (due to ongoing problems with Internet Explorer) I changed my preferred browser to Apple's Safari. To be honest, it's a crap browser but at least it's stable (IE had reached a stage where it was constantly crashing and of course, IE can't be re-installed because a full uninstall is impossible).
Anyway, since my changeover to Safari I've noticed that Ad Aware no longer discovers any cookies or other privacy objects. Safari obviously puts them somewhere where Ad Aware isn't looking. Is it possible to make Ad Aware find them again? Or alternatively, would this problem get solved if I upgraded Ad Aware to the latest version?

Ad-Aware, the most current version being AE, only supports IE, Firefox and Safari.
To be honest, I'd recommend installing Firefox. It's my personal favourite and is easily configurable to block bad cookies anyway
