Please could you help,I only Installed Ad-Aware Anniversary Edition Free ,Last night and all seemed ok, but this morning after logging on,Firstly I am pretty sure Ad-Aware did not start up ,with the other programs, and there was no Icon in the Taskbar near my clock bottom of screen.
I had to double click Desktop Icon for program to show up and start, I followed the Instructions to click on close to use the Free Edition, I then Went to tools ,then settings and made sure box was checked to show Icon in Task bar ,but nothing
happened, perhaps you coulddvise me how to correct this,I havent restarted my computer yet ,perhaps I should try that to see if maybe the Program hasnt loaded properly.
I would appreciate your help,as this is the first time I have ever used Ad-Aware products.

Hi,

Could you check Task Manager to see if AAWTray is running? If it is then this is a known Windows problem, if it's not then we'll do a bit more work.

Thanks Casey, Have checkedwhat yuo suggested ,seems ok,Task Master ,Reports
Process--AAW-tray,Exe ,Norman (Myself, Administrator) CPU,oo--744k, Ad-Ware,
Yesterday I uninstalled Program and Reinstalled, now fingers crossed seems ok , Ivon this morning back in system tray,
I have run Smart Scan -Clean,If everything stays ok ,Imay upgrade to Ad-Ware plus or Pro,as when I right clicked tray Icon there seems to be some summer offer , I think Ad-Ware Plus for £9.95, or Ad-Ware Pro,£9.95,I think I Have It Right,
Or is THAT Reduced that much.?
You may Know these programs better than me Are they worth purchasing ,or good value for money ,compared with other security software, on the market, like Superantispyware , or Avira Classic(free) or Avira Premium etc,
Also While Iam sure you are more upto speed Tech Wise ,I am Having a Hell Of a time with my Windows Internet Explorer 8, I am running Windows Vista 32 Bit Home Premium,I keep getting, error message, Windows Int,Explorer is not
responding, andclosing taking me back to Desktop,or certain Websites Error Message,-ERRORS ON THIS WEB PAGE
MIGHT CAUSE IT TO WORK iNCORRECTLY, -USER LD OR ID UNDEFINED.and then some other details which I dont understand, I have contacted Microsoft support, who guided me to uninstall Internet Explorer 8, then Reinstall it, but
Its no better,Infact I cant now log into my Internet Banking with Cahoot Bank.!
Perhaps I will have to phone them back because they dont seem to be getting my detailed emails, they even sent me
some software to install to run and send them a detailed report of my computer configuration,I dont know if they actually received that. What a mess, Any suggestions.?

Sorry its a long reply.

Yeah I think that's right, it was a summer deal which Lavasoft were offering. If you want to take advantage of that then either click the link if it appears again or send an email to sales [at] lavasoft [dot] com (replace [at] with @ and [dot] with .) Yes they are, especially with a deal like that.

As for your Internet Explorer issues - maybe try using Firefox or run scans with your current Anti-virus products to check that you dont have malware installed.
