A friend of mine downloaded Ad aware Free.
When she tried to install it (at the end of the process) a message appeared saying: "The file FLTLIB.DLL could not be found. The setup failed. Try reinstalling it again, it will correct this problem."
But uninstalling it and reinstalling it again has not corrected the problem.
She has Windows XP, 12 GB hard drive (has 3-4 GB free space).
She has Zonealarm and NOD32 installed as well in her pc but they were inactive while the installation was taking place.
Those two programs cannot possibly be the problem because I have the same programs installed in my own Windows XP laptop and I installed Ad- aware just fine (that was several months ago). I gave her my own setup file that I had downloaded hoping that it would cure the problem but it didn't.
Can you please help?
