I run about 5 PCs at home and have used the free version of Ad-Aware for many years and found it very useful. I find that it doesn't work anymore, scans for about 30 seconds and then stops. I have tried it again today on one PC that has been reinstalled from scratch and still no luck. I have been recommending this program to friends and other users via web pages I run, but I am now going to remove it as it doesn't work anymore. It also appears that LavaSoft won't help anyone on the free version directly, which surprises me. Anyone with suggestions on the problem. p;ease?
