Ok so the story is that I scanned my computer and found out I had malware using Ad-aware AE. Said I had some and i told it to remove it and when it got done a little box popped up telling me to restart my computer so the removal would be complete. The box looked innocent so I took it as it was an AE popup and restarted. Now I can't login to my XP account. I type in my password and it acts like it's going to log me in and then it says saving settings then logging off and I'm back to square one with it. Anyone know anything about what happened to my computer and know how I should go about getting it fixed?

Somebody else had the same problem last week. Start a new thread in the HJT forum (see my signature). Copy/paste or link to this thread to describe the problem, and somebody there can help you with malware removal and fixing the login/logoff loop.
