Full Version: How to clean Win32.Backdoor.Small

I keep getting that my machine was infected with Win32.Backdoor.Small even though Ad-aware said it was removed and machine was rebooted after doing full-scan.

I also used the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to scan and clean it up. It once found the same virus and cleaned it. But it no longer find it.

If Malwarebytes quarantined the file instead of deleting it, it's possible Ad-aware is detecting the quarantined file.

I guess you're right. I went back to the tool and asked for file deletion, then run Ad-aware again. At first, it still sees virus, but after couple reboot, it no longer see it.
