I continue to receive unwanted pop-ups with IE7, eventhough I run complete scans with Ad-Aware and Antivir on a regular base and have pop-ups in IE7 turned off. Can someone help? Thanks!

I recommend:

1. Under Internet Properties (where you find the pop-up blocker) set both the privacy and security to Med-High or High.

2. Installing Spybot and/or Spywareblaster since they shield IE from various malware.

3. Use a different browser like Firefox or Opera since they're not exploited as much as IE.

4. If you suspect malware is causing the pop-ups, read the instructions in my signature about posting a log in the HijackThis forum. Copy/paste or link to this thread to describe the problem, and somebody there can help you with malware removal.
