So in 2002 I purchased Ad-aware SE Professional. At the time this was advertised as free updates for life. About a year later Ad- aware started announcing that it's paid verisons were only good for a year or so. Well they kept there end of the bargain on me, because I continued to get free updates for the next coupl of years, I even got the 0.6 version something. I forgot about Ad-aware cause I got new pc's and new virus protection and all. Well I was digging around in my closet and found my old disc they sent me, of course the updates are ridiculously old, and the updates will not load and they only bring me to a page where it talks about purchasing the program.


So my question is.....................................Will Ad-aware continue to uphold our agreement? I believe I have all the pertinent information they need if asked. I want the latest version of Ad-aware Professional, or the Anniversary, whatever is newer/better.


Edit: I looked up my old post from when I did this last time, and tried to follow the same steps. And while I have a user name still for element 5 and can log in and view my account, I am unable to login through the customer support area in lava soft with the same user name.

I think you're out of luck. The last version of SE Pro was 1.06 which you referred to, and definitions ended March 30 this year, so it's reached EOL. AE is considered a new product altogether.
