After running a scan using AdAware 2008 Free, I am left with 9 Host File Entry bugs and nothing will get rid of them. The same 9 bugs are there every time I run this scan.
They are all to the same IP address but with different file names.
Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of them for good would really be appreciated.

1. Find the hosts file. In XP it's located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc.
2. Right-click Properties and uncheck "Read-only."
3. Open Notepad and drag the hosts file over, opening it in the text editor.
4. Find (Ctrl-F) and delete the entire line for each of the 9 entries.
5. Save (Ctrl-S).
6. Right-click Properties and check "Read-only."
