Hi,
I recently installed AdawareAE to update Adaware 2008. 2008 was installed in E:Program Files since I keep C: for OS. But AE removed 2008, expected, but installed in C: without an apparent option to choose an alternative location, unexpected.
I would like to have AE installed in the original location ie E: prgram Files. So,
1) I assume it can be done with registry changes which may be complex, or
2) Do a reinstal, if it is possible to choose different location, but how.
3) Impossible to relocate ?

Yes, it is possible with AE to select the install directory, so you'll need to reinstall. To prevent problems, do a clean uninstall first. You can do this yourself if you're experienced with finding/deleting folders, files, and registry entries; or you can use programs like these useful free tools. Revo Uninstaller on the highest setting will remove all traces of Lavasoft/Ad-Aware before you reinstall.

During installation, look for the link to Customize Installation - this is where you're allowed to choose a directory.
