Hi,
Few weeks ago I installed a new version of Ad-Aware(2008)through my Internet provider Netvision and from there I have problems with the program.
My Internet provider recommended me to write about the problems in this forum with a hope to receive solutions:

1)When I want to open Ad-Aware,I always receive this message-



Sometimes I receive this message of error 1814-



Once it stuck my computer and I had to do a restart because of this error!!!


2)After the troubles that I have with the entrance,I have sometimes trouble with scanning when I receive this message-




3)When I turn on my computer I receive this message that connected to Ad-Watch-




I have more problems with Ad-Watch,but this I will leave for another time...For now it enough...

For me important to remind that with the previous version I didn't have so much troubles/problems...

I will be very happy to receive solutions for my problems quickly!

Since you have 2008 Plus, you're allowed to get help from Lavasoft's Customer Support (link in my signature). Since you received Ad-Aware from you ISP, you probably need to register first:

However, with so many errors, I think it's a bad installation, especially if you installed over a previous version. It might be faster for you try a clean uninstall first, then reinstall. You can do this yourself if you're experienced with finding/deleting folders, files, and registry entries; or you can use programs like these useful free tools. Revo Uninstaller on the highest setting will remove all traces of Lavasoft/Ad-Aware before you reinstall.

Hiya I have used the ad a ware 2008 version and before that ad aware 2007 but keep having loads of problems with it up dating and not up dating so ive been really reluctant to put on ad aware 2009 but I have and it is so easy to use and has ad watch protection free I suggest you change to the 2009 version its not as hard as it looks. good luck
