Hi,

I noticed that my AV wasn't working. Looking at AdAware, I saw that it had quarantined two copies of Zlib.dll under two BD folders.

It is possible that my son navigated to a compromised website - and these DLLs are really infected, but I am not sure.

I have uploaded the AdAware log file.

thanks for any help.

Hello peterHomeIT

Thank you for reporting this issue. We will re-investigate the file and if it is found to be a false positive it will be removed from detection with the next definition update.

Thanks a lot for your help. I am sorry that it has taken me several days to reply.
I zipped the two files and am uploading them.

Hello

With the latest definition file, are you still seeing any of the files in the detection list?

Thanks for your quick reply.

Well, I am not sure how to check.
Would I have to pull those files out of quarantine first, or will AdAware re-check them?

thanks
LS Anders
I think you need to restore them first.

thanks a lot.
I updated the definitions, restored the two files, and ran scans - and the files were not re-selected, so I am assuming they are clean. The AV was able to be updated and is working again. Thanks for everyone's help.
