I'm not sure whether or not Ad-Aware AE picked this up as a false positive or not. From what I can gather, it is attached to one of my computer games. The confusing thing is that 3 other scanners haven't picked up the same thing - McAfee Total Protection, Spybot Search & Destroy, nor Microsoft's online OneCare scaner. The suspicious file is wcdemo.exe. I have attached both scans I ran last night/this morning. Any help with how to get the rule removed if this is found to be a false positive would be appreciated as I have tried however the rule continues to come back, even when the file is deleted. Thank you.

Hi Chrissy432,
Thanks for your report. We'll investigate this detection and if it is a false positive, it will be removed from detection.

Thanks for your help. I removed the file since I sent it to my ignore list (and reinstalled the software), and I will quarantine it in the next scans until the update comes out to remove it from detection. As long as removing it from detection will get rid of the subsequent rule that ties the file to the supposed infection, I will consider this "case closed." Thanks again for all your help.

Hi Chrissy,
The update is out now

You'll need to go in and remove it from ignore.

Dave
