I've got a pretty old version of Ad-Aware SE Plus which recently (obvious to you all, of course) stopped updating. I don't seem to have an account to log in and download a copy of AE, so how do I upgrade?

Most likely your old license has expired, so you can upgrade to AE Free or get Plus for free through a partner offer:

Before installing AE, make sure you do a complete uninstall of SE. I used the SE uninstaller, then cleaned up remnant folders and registry entries myself, but if you're not comfortable doing that, here's a post to use uninstaller program(s):
