I am trying to uninstall A-A AE free version

I go to Control Panel Add/Remover Program, select Ad-Aware and click on Remove.

A window appears to open for an instant but then disappears.

I have exited A-A from the system tray and done the same but the same symptoms.

Let's try using the program's uninstaller directly. This can be done by going to:

Start > programs > Lavasoft > Ad-Aware > Uninstall Ad-Aware
