I am running Vista Home Premium and system restore will not restore to a Restore Point.

A member of another forum was experiencing the same problem and solved the issue by uninstalling Ad-Adware.

Is this a know problem?

No, I don't think this is a known problem with Ad-Aware.

But to be safe, try fully exiting Ad-Aware (right click on item in notification area and click exit) and then doing a system restore.

If this fails to work, then try to start up in safe mode and then try running a system restore.
