I really, really want to uninstall my adaware program, but when I go to control panel (XP) and try to uninstall, nothing happens. I can click, click, click, and the area of AdAware blinks, but nothing happens.

Had installed the AE. After much angst, I re-installed AE on top of what I had, and bingo, I could uninstall it. Thanks for your time.
