Purchased Helix two days ago. For the first day,each time I turned on my PC, the blue Helix windows displayed. Shortly after that the tray icon for Helix also displayed. Today, neither is happening. My workaround: If I click Start >Lavasoft> Helix, the Helix window opens and indicates that virus checking is activated. Since my convenient tray icon and the login Helix display are gone, what should I look for in the Windows Task Manager under the process tab that would show me that I have virus protection? It would be nice to get the tray icon indication back. Does Windows XP have a feature that allows programs to start at powerup? The Helix on-line manual index indicates there is something about the Helix tray icon available on page 106 but nothing that helps. I am a little miffed that getting help for two Lavasoft products that I paid for is handled in forums. I will probably have trouble just getting this posted, let alone finding it later assuming someone takes a stab at this.

I'm not really firm with Helix, but you may try this...
install 'Revo Uninstaller'*
open Revo
Tools
Autorun Manager
Locate the Helix entry and enable it.

You also should make sure that you'd adapted the firewall settings.
