Smart Scan only takes 3 seconds. Like the earlier versions, I assumed that the "Full" scan takes much longer. However, when I select "Full" scan it also takes only 3 seconds to perform the scan. How do I correct this problem.

You do appear to have a problem although apart from un-installing
the programme and starting from scratch again I don't know what to
suggest.

Smart scan takes about one minute for me-should be quick!

Full scan takes about thirty six minutes-what I would expect.

Seems a silly question but I guess you have all the area's to
scan boxes ticked in the scanning settings.Also the ignore files
bigger than.........kb has a figure in it and not blank.

Hi, this is Charlestongent again. I have been reading some earlier comments on this same subject. The problem is with Symantec Endpoint Protection. I just uninstalled Symantec and Ad-aware is again scanning. So therefore, there is a capability issue between Ad-aware Anniversary Addition and Symantec Endpoint Protection. I have not yet read where someone has found a fix for this problem. If so then I have not come across it yet. If anyone has resolved this same problem please advise. Thanks.
