It appears that after March 12, 2009 the distributed installer package at Download.com for Ad-ware AE was changed. This installer package now includes a new set of Visual C++ Runtime DLLs, as well as other updated files. This update apparently didn't bump up the minor version, as no official update has been released. So, I was wondering if there was any point upgrading to this newer set of files?
On one hand, I am rather hesitant considering the many reports of installer problems and other issues. On the other hand, perhaps some of the bugs others, including myself, have reported are fixed with some of these updated files in this new installer package.

An updated installer package will just include some updates which you will have already recieved if you had the older installation but kept this up to date.

Hi Casey,
That's the way it normally works, usually updating all installed files that are older, regardless. However, I found differences between the two. Some files are not getting updated through the built-in AE updater. I guess it's suppose to work like that. <shrug>
Thanks....
