Same problem folks. Running Xp SP3, 1.5 Gb RAM, previous free edtn worked well. 'Updated' to AE but now get the 'loading' screen and then a fade out - nil, nada, zilch. Have previously uninstalled and reinstalled older free edtn and it works, but he AE doesn't. It appears to have installed OK ie. no error messages.

I am unsure, however it was probably either 2007 or 2008 personal edition/SE.

open it and delete all AAW references (maybe you find the name there).
