i have just downloaded the free version in my desktop. i ran a full system scan and tried to delete what it found. it locks up on delete and wont go any further. i have had the "progress bar" showing completed for over an hr now and it wont do anything else. this is the third time this has happened. on the other 2 times, i closed it, removed the program from my system, and then downloaded it again thinking that something was wrong with the download. please help the old man that is new to this stuff! thanks, perry

Do you by chance have spysweeper? There is a conflict between Spysweeper and Ad-Aware altho the freeze usually occurs during the scan not the delete.

If you have spysweeper, please temporarily disable it and try to run the scan and delete again, and let us know if that works.
