Two weeks in a row the Anniversary Edition full system scan has found malware called WIN32\.\HEXZONE. Browsing the net I have been unable to locate this exact name, although I have found similar names. Both times I selected to delete it and both times the deletion routine reported success.

I would like to find out 1. By what method does this worm or virus re-infect my computer?
2. What does it do? (have noticed that my computer has become very slow)
3. Most important, how would I go about getting rid of it permanently?

I use XP Pro with SP3 and am current with Microsoft updates.
