Hi,

Firstly we need to configure viewing hidden files:

Go to Start > Control Panel > Folder Options
Click on the View tab
Make sure this option is selected:
  • Show hidden files and folders
Click Apply and then click OK

Then you will need to navigate to the folder:
Start > Computer > double click C: > navigate to C:\ProgramData\Lavasoft \Ad-Aware\ by double clicking on the appropriate folders > find core.aawdef and delete it.

Hope that helps,

Casey

Thank you so much..........I was able to find the file and delete it. Only because you helped me find where to go by the hand.... Now I get an error message saying no data base found.....I'll try and figure that one out now.
