I have a Dell E310 running Windows XP . The LAVASOFT Ad-Aware 2008 FREE VERSION 7.1.0.7 will not update.
It will not run and when I try to delete it, NO GO. It just locks up my computer.
How do I delete it so I can start over. I have tried all sorts of updates & such with NO RESULTS.

Did you see the announcement at the top of this forum: "Pinned: Resolved: High CPU issue or system error 1814, with latest update"

I don't know if that would apply or not?

I wonder if one could run a C-Drive search for anything named Lavasoft, Delete all, and reinstall? I haven't tried that yet.
