Zone Alarm free firewall requested to decide if I wanted to allow AAWDriverTool.exe access to the internet. I ran a search on the AAWDrivertool and all it came up with was European language with words like Trojan and such. I tried the Google translate and the websites still did not indicate if it is safe to allow AAWDrivertool to access the internet.
It is located in the program files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\drivers\32\AAWDriverTool.exe
The Ad-watch program has shutdown and is now requesting a restart for it to finalize installation.
I am wondering if it has been infected somehow during an update, as searching the forum I have not come up with any reference to AAWDriverTool.exe.
The def update did not indicate a program update on the forum either.
I am running Windows XP Professional SP3, and exclusively do my web work on Firefox 3.0.7. I use Avast 4.8.1335 with def 090305-01

Ad-aware last updated 2009-03-06 def 0146.0019

So my question is it safe to allow AAWDriverTool.exe to have internet access

Thank you

AAWDriverTool.exe is a legitimate part of AE.
To be on the safe side...
install an additional AntiSpyWare program (recommended)
and scan the Ad-aware folder.
