Lately having unwanted new internet explorers popping up for websites I do not want to go
to,( once the website mentioned below) some times things just popup for a split second, other times just little quirky things
on display that never happened before. I suspect a certain website, normally as safe as any, that I have had some public dispute with. They sent me an email as if I was a subscriber, so I clicked the unsubscribe url, which responded
in an odd manner, did not give the usual msg, you have been unsubscribed. Later I got an email from their service saying I had made a mistake and they had no records of me ever belonging, which is true. So, suspicions are aroused.

Lately when scanning I only get cookies showing up, no more mru's. I suspect I have a bug that has blocked detection of mru's. I almost always have both, and after a week or so and several scans none. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, a thru adwaware uninstall program itself. When I use revo-uninstaler It cannot obtain access to the adaware uninstall program. which has never been the case before. I get the message cannot find the file above, I have manually looked for this file and cannot find it. Something has hidden, or moved it so that I or my computer cannot find it.

Been reading the HJT manual, it looks like the things with no name and no file are left over remnants of old malwares that I probably don't have any more. Also there is an N1 related to netscape, which I no longer have on my system. I have a bunch of R0-R1's. All of which relate to start page and search engines I guess. Can I fix these, get rid of, If they do not pertain to my exact start page? Are they just left overs from start pages I used to have set up? Are they better left alone in fear of making a mistake? My philosopphy has always been if ya dont use it its just a drain on the system resources. I have backed up reg with erunt.
