This link had not been used in over a year. When I clicked, it wanted to update. During this, there was a power failure and the installation aborted. I was unable to continue it.

Now, I get an aasservice crash upon start up. Even turning it off in the Task Manager Processcess does not always stop it. I tried completely removing Lavasoft - no change. I restored from a previous date. No change. My questions:

1 - Is there a way to get this question sent to Lavatech staff?
2 - Can anyone help me remove this annoying crash message? (I have clicked "send error log" about half the time so you should have some records of this event.

I have removed your email address as you are just asking for spam if you give it out. If you want you can set it so that board emails you if someone replies.

There are several steps we could try, this first would be to install Ad-Aware AE (link in sig.) and see if that installs ok. If you like it you can keep it, if not you can uninstall it later.
