For some odd reason when I click on the, "Uninstall" button under Lavasoft in, "All Programs" I get the original "Install" Wizard I got when I downloaded the new AE. Up until then I had been just a standard Lavasoft 2008 user with which I was perfectly happy. And I thought I was getting the new Lavasoft 2009 update when I clicked on the button for AE, my bad and now my PC is as confused as I am. rolleyes.gif mad.gif unsure.gif huh.gif wink.gif

Hi Tom biggrin.gif
use the Revo Uninstaller*
and run it in the highest mode. Probably the original installer is broken, so proceed with Revo.
If you need further advice, feel free to post back.

Hi Raziel, and thank you. smile.gif

I have Revo Installer but I'm not sure what you mean, "Run it in highest mode." Also if I use ERUNT to back up my system will ERDNT restore things back to the way they were beforehand?
When I click on AdAware in Revo I get back some 100 and some entries I assume need to be deleted. Revo also says something about only deleting files that have been Emboldened and there are quite a few boxes that are Emboldened while the text isn't. Not having used Revo like this before I am somewhat paranoid. wink.gif
