I have been using SE for a while now but recently it came up with the above EM, so I downloaded AE, uninstalled SE using ccleaner and then installed AE.
The install and update went OK, the AE icon appeared in task bar, but when I try to run it I get the same EM. I would be most grateful if anyone could provide me with any information which might enable me to resolve this problem.

plz provide info about OS/installed security software/ and the name or error-number from the alert.
Install 'HijackThis' (link in sign.), run a scan and copy/paste the log in your next reply.
