I've the same problem. I had to format the PC and when I tried to register the program it's appeared a worning: serial number not valid because it's used in an other PC or this PC is changed.
I tried to contact Support Center for 6-7 times during two weeks but I've had no one answer.

I want to be more definite about the impossibility to register and activate my Ad-Aware Plus that expires on September 30th 2009.

I 've 3 PC:
- the first with Ad-Aware Free;
- the second with Lavasoft Personal Firewall and Ad-Aware Plus purchased on March 2008 with order #1#####and registered with Serial Number ##########D;
- the third, this with problems, with Renewal: Ad-Aware Plus 1 year purchased on September 30th 2008 with order ###### and Serial Number ########### received on request a few days ago.

This last Serial Number is the same I received when I purchased the program.

Now I don't understand the warning: the number is used by an other PC.
And during the last two weeks I wrote many times to notify I've formatted the PC: also if I made mistakes by writing, no one has not yet replied.

So now my situation is to have an Ad-Aware paied and not expired but in reality not functioning in.

What is the solution?
