My request to follow recommendations (to quarantine) resulted in CLEAN FAILED for both.
I then re-booted in Windows Safe mode, and ran a scan which showed neither object.
Does anyone know what I should try to lose these malwares?
The two malware objects for quarantining from first scan:
1)
Alset
No EULA. Opens pop up ads.
and
2)
SearchBarCash
Also known as ISTbar (AUpdate variant). E toolbar, homepage, and search hijacker.
Apart from these particular malwares, I'd appreciate any strategy for dealing with failed quarantine attempts in general. Thanks for any help.
