I installed the 64bit version of Lavasoft Personal Firewall, on Sunday, Monday the next day, a message during boot said the trail period was over, and to buy or enter the licence. I tried to uninstall the program, not able to. No Install program, and directory is protected. How do I uninstall this product without reformating my hard drive?

That does sound odd. Since you were on the trial version, you can't access the Support Center, so I'll see if I can get someone over here to assist.

This does seem strange that the license was just valid for one day.
Where did you download the installation file from?
Have you had the personal firewall installed on the system before?

You can un-install the program, by going to:
Control panel and in add/remove programs you can remove the lavasoft personal firewall.
You can also uninstall the software in windows safe mode.
(You can enter Safe mode by pressing F8 when your computer is starting up and select Safe mode)

Once the software is un-installed please restart the system.
