I have loaded the Anniversary Edition in place of the old Lavasoft 2008 version, and am using my licenc for the 2008 version. What I've found is that though there IS a scheduler, it only operates to run the scan and NOT the daily updates. Is there any way I can resume use of the Lavasoft Ad-Aware 2008 version, since I've had a lot of trouble with this since I loaded it, similar problems to those aired by other people, and it is a lot slower than the 2008 version as well.

It's almost as if a beta version had been unleashed instead of a finished product. To be honest, this programme is trying my patience, and it's not as if I have not had good satisfaction from Lavasoft before.

The 2008 version can still be found on some Lavasoft mirrors, yes.
