Greetings,

I have read a couple of posts here regarding the AATWMP folder. Unfortunately, I have the same problem only I cant seem to be able to remove the trojans in the folder. They only appear when Ad-aware is scanning that directory. I have tried to delete this folder in Safe Mode and have also deep scanned my HDD several times. Could you kindly provide me with a way to remove the trojans once and for all. Is there a way to empty all the AAWTMP folders that occur at specific times. I have even tried deleting all the quaratine list, uninstalling and reinstalling the Ad-aware software but to no avail. Desperate need of help. Thanking you in advance.

From the FAQ:

During a scan, Ad-Aware will temporarily decompress files to scan their contents. Due to the fact that this antivirus provider also includes some detection of advertising (and/or spyware related) content, its resident scanner will detect the file that Ad-Aware is scanning. This is a normal function of the resident scanner. Thus, let Ad-Aware complete its scan, review the results, and then take what action is appropriate (whether to do nothing, ignore, or remove at your choice). Once this is completed, perform a scan with your antivirus to ensure that your system is free of virus infection
