Symptom:
During the file scanning stage of an Ad-Aware scan, Ad-Aware may become unresponsive.

Cause:
This can be caused by bad file clusters on the harddisk

Resolution:
To fix bad clusters, run chkdisk and fix any errors it may find. You may also want to defragment your harddisk.
