I have a Vista Ultimate x64 System with Lavasoft Personal Firewall 3.0. My Sling Player 2.0 Client is unable to connect with the Lavasoft Personal Firewall Active or Suspended. If I shutdown the Lavasoft Personal Firewall and Service the Sling Client Connects and runs well. How do I troubleshoot this? or Resolve this issue?

hi,

I've moved your topic to the firewall forum, because this is where most firewall users post.

Have you read the product manual on how to manually create a rule to allow a program through?

I know how to create a firewall rule. I don't believe it is a rule rule issue, because if I disable / suspend protection the issue persists. I think the issue is with the way the firewall inspects the packets?

You're best bet would be then to contact the support center (link in my sig.) and ask them. Explain to them that you have tried creating a rule to allow.

Hopefully they will be able to help out,

Casey
